György leads the charge to ensure customers get the best home and entertainment experience via an enhanced content offering across all platforms coupled with the rollout of innovative new products. Having joined the Digicel family in July 2019, György has a great track record in the transformation of service companies mostly in the telecoms space. He spent six and a half years as CEO of Volia, the Ukraine’s leading provider of entertainment, communications and information products, where under his stewardship, Volia was able to transition successfully from a pure telecoms provider to today being a leader in digital entertainment using customer experience as a point of differentiation. Prior to Volia, György spent eight and a half years with Central European telecoms provider, Invitel, in a variety of roles starting as Chief Marketing Officer and latterly spending two and a half years as COO leading transformation of its diverse assets in multiple countries. Before moving into the telecoms arena, Gyorgy also spent ten years in the banking and insurance industries in Hungary.
