Katherine Pond – Vice President of Business Development – VIZIO

Katherine Pond is the Vice President of Business Development at VIZIO, leading OTT distribution, content acquisition, and strategic partnerships. Since joining VIZIO in 2012, she has initiated, negotiated, and closed distribution, ad tech, and licensing deals across content, technology, advertising, and data verticals.

Mark Shepard – SVP & General Manager, Core DAI – Canoe Ventures

Mark oversees Canoe’s Core Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) line of business across Linear, VOD and Streaming platforms. Mark has been with Canoe since 2009, serving in various Director roles within Canoe’s Operations and Customer Experience groups before most recently leading Canoe’s Product group. Prior to Canoe, Mark worked with multiple satellite, telco, and cable clients, overseeing numerous cross-organization technical projects as well as leading various System & Integration groups. As part of Mark’s work with the Canoe team on DAI, he has received both an Emmy® and a patent. Mark enjoys living in Denver with his wife and four children.

Stefanie Meyers – Senior Vice President, Distribution – Starz

Stefanie Meyers is Senior Vice President of Distribution for STARZ. Based in the company’s New York office, Meyers is responsible for STARZ’s OTT business, utilizing her in-depth understanding of the media industry and competitive television landscape to build a strategic vision to maximize subscriber and revenue growth. She also supports STARZ’s business development initiatives.

Jamie Grosz – Head of Business Development, Content Acquisition – Philo

In her role as Head of Business Development at Philo, Jamie is integral to the company’s business development and content acquisition efforts, bringing the shows subscribers love to Philo’s entertainment-focused OTT platform. She takes a thoughtful approach in determining the content and distribution roadmap to help maximize Philo’s growth opportunity in a scalable way including platform partnerships with Apple, Amazon, Google and Roku; programming partnerships with industry-leading brands including A&E, AMC, Discovery, Viacom and more, as well as a strategic relationships with the T-Mobile, Best Buy, NCTC, WOW and Frontier. With a keen understanding of the business of negotiating distribution, managing content and business relationships, and developing both business and content strategy, she brings a deft hand to the most critical challenges facing the company.
